INNOVATION​

GAME DESIGN

  • Every single mechanic has been tested without any visuals or audio to make sure the mechanic alone by itself generates the same feeling as you are looking at a painting or listening to a piece of music created under the psychedelia genre.​

  • An open-world puzzle game. The player can switch between puzzles at any time by simply walking away from one and starting a new one without breaking the sense of immersion. No need to navigate through the menu or a map for fast traveling between locations. The fast traveling system is built in as a gameplay mechanic.​

  • No HUD (heads-up display). All the necessary information is placed in the world as 3D objects.

VISUALS

  • A Unique look achieved by fusing two different art styles; ​
    Psychedelic art style merged with minimal art style!​

  • The whole world is a blank canvas, and the player paints it consciously or unconsciously by playing the game. In the end, no two players will end up with identical looks for their worlds in their playthroughs.​

  • After 100% completion of the campaign, a feature (in-game mechanic) will become available that gives the player the ability to have control over the visuals in real-time so that they can replay any part of the game with their choice of art style over and over again!

MUSIC

  • The whole world is your drum kit! Every time a bullet collides with an object, a drum note plays. Each type of object plays a different set of notes.

  • The game reacts to you playing your drum, and the background music matches itself with your play.

  • There is an enemy type named "The Musicians"; each playing its own genre, and the world reacts to their songs
    in real-time.​ Unreal's "Audio Synesthesia" is heavily used to achieve this behavior.
